INTRODUCTION
There are different resource materials which helps to make teaching learning process more effective. They include syllabus, textbook, workbook, teachers handbook etc. Resource materials provide useful knowledge through various ways. In this video we discuss about one of the important resource material "textbook"
OBJECTIVES
1. To assist teacher students in selecting textbook as resource material.
2. Point out the various criteria that a textbook selected as a resource material should satisfy.
3. Discuss the various criteria developed by Thurber and Kollet for preparing and selecting good textbook.
4. Enable teacher students to prepare good textbook in future which can be used as resource material.
